Interdisciplinary symposium on the sensorimotor method Work at the Clayfield®

3 – 4 July 2020 2 – 3 July 2021

The symposium addresses professionals from the fields of education and health – academics, doctors, therapists, teachers etc. – and related fields, as well as all kinds of Tonfeld-practioners. Other interested guests are also welcome to participate!

The event aims to promote the international and interdisciplinary exchange of insights from researchers and practitioners on the method Work at the Clayfield® and its impact on clients. Good practice, new developments and links to educational programs and other client-focused approaches can be identified and discussed. Recent research will be presented and workshops and case studies will explore the possibilities of the method to inspire ideas for improvements in education and health processes.

Participants will be offered two days of research presentations, keynote speakers, workshops based on case studies and many opportunities to meet with individuals from diverse backgrounds.

The results of the symposium will be gathered and published.

The sessions will be held in English and German.

Care for the children of participants will be offered. We kindly ask to attend the sessions without children.

From Berlin mainstation you can walk to the location in 10 minutes: leave the station though the exit „Europaplatz“, then go left and at the second intersection cross the street using the traffic light across Motel One. Turn right into Lehrter Straße and follow the signs.

By plane:

From Tegel Airport: Take the Bus TXL to S-Bahnhof mainstation in 15 minutes
From Schönefeld Airport: Take the S9 from Schönefeld to Ostkreuz and then change to S5, S7 or S75 to get to S-Bahnhof mainstation.


By car: (not recommended)

You can get to the location via Seydlitzstraße 20. There are parking spots available at the house (you will have to pay a fee). Other parking spots can be found in the surrounding streets and at the mainstation.

Low-emission zone

„Tagen in Berlin“ is located in the low-emission zone of Berlin. If you get to the loaction by car or bus you will require a green sticker, which stands for the emission group with the lowest level of pollutants.
